Hello all and welcome to the Sense & Corrie de Jong family blog! I wanted to set one up so that we can keep in touch with eachother easily and share pictures, stories and other fun things as we anticipate celebrating Dad & Mom's 50th wedding anniversary this coming December!
Dave surprised me with a one week trip to Ontario and the photos will give you an idea of the fun I had with decorating gingerbread trains and generally getting re- acquainted with the grandkids and my kids. It was wonderful to see everyone again and I marvelled at how the children had grown and changed. I had not seen Dave & Andrea's children for a year and Marc & Christine's children since July '07. At the end of March, Mitch and Dana hope to welcome their little one into the world - our 13th grandchild!
Here is the newest addition to the Sikkema clan: Emma Elizabeth, born December 11, 2007 and baptized January 6, 2008! The Lord is good and His faithfulness extends through the generations!

What a neat idea, Anita. We're not bloggers, never done it before. But we'll give it a try....From our perch in Tabitha Homes, St. Catharines, we salute all, old and young, the whole "bloomense" S&C de Jong family. May God give all of us what we need. He knows best!
